Good Morning Familyyy!
Today day is Truly Terrific Tuesday. Contribute to the tremendous joy around you…by listening to this podcast episode!
Developing trust in the Lord, and confidence in Him is a lifelong journey that requires intentional effort and a willingness to surrender our fears and doubts to Him. As we seek Him with our whole hearts, He will reveal Himself to us and help us to trust Him more.
Jeremiah 17:7-8 reminds us that we are blessed when we put our trust in God and have confidence in Him. We build trust in God by relying on Him and believing that He will take care of us, no matter what we may face.
To grow in our faith, we must seek spiritual nourishment. This can be achieved by reading the Bible, praying, attending church, and spending time with other believers. Through these activities, we can deepen our relationship with God and gain a better understanding of His plans for us.
When we face difficult times, we can find strength and courage in God. We do not need to fear, because He is with us and will sustain us through every challenge we may encounter.
Remember:
Trust in God: The passage says that blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord. Trusting in God means relying on Him and having confidence in His ability to take care of us. When we trust in God, we can have peace and confidence even in difficult circumstances.
Seek spiritual nourishment: The passage compares the person who trusts in God to a tree planted by water that sends out its roots by the stream. Just as a tree needs water and nutrients to grow and thrive, we need spiritual nourishment to grow in our faith. This can come from reading the Bible, praying, attending church, and spending time with other believers.
Don't fear difficult times: The passage says that the tree does not fear when heat comes, and its leaves are always green. Similarly, we should not fear difficult times, but trust that God is with us and will sustain us through them. We can find strength and hope in Him.
Be fruitful: The passage says that the tree planted by water never fails to bear fruit. As Christians, we are called to bear fruit by living out our faith in our actions and interactions with others. This can include showing love, kindness, and compassion to those around us, and sharing the good news of Jesus with others.
Trusting in God and seeking spiritual nourishment are essential for our well-being and growth. When we build our lives on the foundation of faith, we can find peace, purpose, and fulfillment. We can face difficult times with confidence and hope, knowing that God is with us and will never leave us or forsake us.
So, my encouragement to you today is this: take time to invest in your relationship with God. Make reading the Bible, praying, attending church, and spending time with other believers a priority in your life. Trust in God's promises and seek His guidance and help in all things. As you do, you will discover that the blessings of God are abundant and life-sustaining.
